Core Grid Systems is committed to delivering exceptional specialized installation services across acoustics, insulation, fireproofing, and automated interfaces. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided and the process for requesting them.

Important: Due to the specialized nature of our installation services and the custom materials involved, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and subject to the conditions outlined below.

Service Categories & Refund Eligibility

Design Review & Consultation Services

  • Scope reviews and feasibility studies: Refundable within 48 hours of delivery if major scope inaccuracies are identified
  • Technical consultations: Non-refundable once consultation has been delivered
  • Design optimization services: Refundable if recommendations prove technically unfeasible due to our oversight

Physical Installation Services

  • Acoustic systems: Refunds considered if installation fails to meet specified performance criteria after commissioning
  • Thermal & envelope systems: Refunds available if thermal bridging or insulation performance falls below contracted specifications
  • Fireproofing installations: Full refund if installation fails regulatory compliance testing
  • Automated interfaces: Refunds considered for non-functional systems that cannot be rectified within 30 days

Certification & Documentation

  • Compliance documentation: Refundable if documentation is rejected by regulatory authorities due to our errors
  • Testing and commissioning reports: Refunds available if reports contain material inaccuracies

Refund Process

  1. Initial Contact: Email info@systems.coregrid.site with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Documentation Required:
    • Original contract or scope agreement
    • Detailed explanation of the issue
    • Supporting evidence (test results, photos, compliance reports)
    • Attempts at resolution documentation
  3. Review Period: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and conduct a full review within 10 business days
  4. Resolution: Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 15 business days via the original payment method

Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Changes in project scope or client requirements after work has commenced
  • Client-provided specifications that prove inadequate or incorrect
  • Installation delays caused by client scheduling or site access issues
  • Performance issues resulting from client modifications to installed systems
  • Normal wear and tear or maintenance requirements
  • Services completed more than 90 days prior to refund request

Partial Refunds

In cases where services have been partially delivered or materials have been custom-manufactured, partial refunds may be considered based on:

  • Percentage of work completed
  • Materials that can be returned to suppliers
  • Labor costs incurred
  • Any re-stocking fees from suppliers

Alternative Resolutions

Before processing refunds, we will always attempt to resolve issues through:

  • Remedial work at no additional cost
  • System adjustments or recalibration
  • Replacement of defective components
  • Additional testing or commissioning
  • Credit towards future services

Warranty vs. Refund

Our standard warranties cover defects in workmanship and materials for periods ranging from 2-15 years depending on the system type. Issues covered under warranty will be addressed through repair or replacement rather than refund, unless resolution is not technically feasible.
